'English Country Schools' is
Accredited by The British Council and is a member of English UK, the world's
leading language teaching association.
Accreditation
UK (formerly the English in Britain Accreditation Scheme) is a quality assurance
scheme for providers of English language teaching services. The Scheme operates
as a partnership between The British Council and English UK. The aim of the
Scheme is to protect international students who are studying or planning to
study in the UK. This is achieved by external inspection, ensuring that
providers that are accredited through the Scheme meet agreed quality standards.
Providers that meet Scheme standards are 'Accredited by The British Council'.
British Council inspectors visit our centres to examine
the premises, teaching, food, welfare and administration.
This encourages excellence
and ensures that all children will be well taught and cared for.

Supervision and Safety
Students are under the constant care and attention of our
experienced staff from the moment of arrival in England until
they go home.
Particular attention is paid to safety. For example no student is allowed in the swimming
pool or out of the school grounds without a member of staff.
Quality Assurance
All staff appraise each
other's performance during the course. Students are consulted weekly about their lessons and there is a Student Council
where they are encouraged to voice opinions on all aspects of their stay. This helps to ensure high standards on an ongoing,
daily basis.
Parental Contacts
A list of parental contacts worldwide is available on
request. Any of the parents will be willing to discuss their child's
experience of the course.
